Rules and Regulations for Rental Homes in Our Neighborhood

THE OAKS at Deer Valley Homeowners Association permits renting to families and small groups to enjoy our neighborhood while kindly requesting that they treat their rented homes as their own and respect the community’s rules and regulations. Per our CC&R’s and Rental Guidelines, homeowners can rent their properties for a minimum of five consecutive days per visit. However, we do not allow nightly stays at rental homes in our community.

Registration of Operations

Homeowners who intend to rent their homes must obtain a Park City Rental License, designated explicitly as Nightly/Short Term. However, it is important to note that the HOA’s minimum rental period is five consecutive days, and nightly rentals are not permitted. Jumpstart your application by checking out Park City short-term rental licensing.

Homeowner Rental Rules and Registration

Registered homeowners renting their properties are reminded that occupancy is strictly for residential purposes. Our HOA strictly prohibits any occupancy that involves parties of a hospitality, commercial, or disruptive nature.

Parking Matters

Rental guests are required to park their vehicles only in the designated driveways of their rented homes. Street parking is not permitted. Any vehicles parked outside these designated areas will be subject to towing at the homeowner’s expense. Trailers, mobile homes, and commercial trucks should not be parked on the street or in the driveway. Contact us today for additional details.

Help Us Uphold the Reputation of Rental Homes in Our Community

It has come to the HOA’s attention that there have been misleading advertisements about rental homes in our community on platforms such as VRBO. To maintain accuracy and transparency, homeowners are responsible for accurately representing their properties’ rental terms and conditions. If you come across any misleading ads, we request that you report them to our clubhouse/property manager, Tom Mohr, at (435) 513-9948.
